SHINCHEONJI – On November 22, Shincheonji, Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony San Francisco Branch hosted its first ever Revelation Bible Exam! This event is part of an ongoing effort to promote deeper scriptural understanding and open, respectful dialogue across diverse faith communities within the Bay Area.
To kick off the event, the church’s youth praise group gave a lively performance, which was followed by an introduction to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and the Revelation Bible exam. The church focuses on structured Bible study using the method of prophecy and fulfillment, and provides free Bible education programs for individuals seeking clarity directly rooted in biblical text—particularly in understanding the Book of Revelation.
Today, the Bible is the world’s best-selling book. Amongst the many books within the Bible, the book of Revelation is widely regarded as one of the most symbolically complex writings in the Bible, which has many believers and Bible students desiring deeper clarity of its meaning, how its prophecies relate to the rest of Scripture, and how it can be applied in one’s life of faith. However, varied interpretations often contribute to confusion or doctrinal inconsistency.
The purpose of the Revelation Bible Exam is to create a fair and transparent platform for evaluating biblical knowledge and strengthening scriptural understanding grounded solely in the text of the Bible. It also sought to foster an open, scripture-centered dialogue amongst people of diverse backgrounds, including leaders interested in continued Biblical study.
Several pastors and religious leaders participated in the exam, coming from across the Bay Area—including cities such as Oakland, San Francisco, and Chico. Through this exam, many of the pastors came to recognize the importance of learning and teaching Revelation today. They expressed much gratitude towards Shincheonji (Shin-cheon-ji) for creating an environment that allows pastors to come together to fellowship, study, and put their biblical knowledge to the test.
