HWPL SF – On Saturday May 30th, the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), nonprofit peace organization San Francisco branch hosted its annual peace festival at Crissy Field, under the theme “Building Powerful Alliance for Peace Across the Bay Area”, in collaboration with the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG). In addition, HWPL also commemorated the 13th Anniversary of the Declaration of World Peace.
In support of world peace and the work of peace being accomplished in the Bay Area, 142 participants attended including religious leaders, 3 NGO leaders and 3 guests. The event included a 2K Peace Run campaign, HWPL membership registration, and community engagement activities designed to promote peace, unity, and civic participation throughout the Bay Area. In doing these activities, 115 people of the general public decided to become registered members of HWPL after being informed about the work of peace HWPL has accomplished and is accomplishing throughout the Bay Area.
