HWPL – On Saturday April 18th, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) nonprofit peace organization San Francisco Branch partnered with San Jose City in it’s “Great American Litter Pickup” event. Several members came out to support and altogether were able to collect 23 bags of litter scattered around the Roosevelt Community Center in downtown San Jose.
This event is one of many that HWPL plans to partner with the city of San Jose with the sole purpose of serving the community in any way possible. As a global nonprofit focused on creating a world of sustainable peace, our various leaders and volunteers believe that it is our personal responsibility to accomplish this by beginning at the local level through efforts such as the BeautifySJ Initiative. We all want peace to be a reality for future generations to come, but without local and “on the ground” efforts being the starting point of this great change, our dream of global peace and harmony will not be realized.
