SHINCHEONJI – On Saturday March 28th, Shincheonji, Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, San Francisco Branch Church participated in a blood drive with the American Red Cross at Anne Darling Elementary School in San Jose, CA. Amongst the many events happening within the Bay Area on this day, many members of Shincheonji San Francisco Branch came out to support and give back to the community in the most heartfelt, meaningful way. Blood donations are commonly needed by numerous hospitals and health facilities, and in this time where communities are seeing a decrease in the amount of volunteers willing to donate, Shincheonji San Francisco Branch Church wanted to help.
Thirty- nine members were able to donate blood while several came early to help set up and stayed after the event had ended to aid the American Red Cross in any way they could. Providing support to our Bay Area community is not only one person’s or one organization’s responsibility, but it is a group effort. By working together as one community with a goal to help one another, even in the smallest of ways, we can truly begin to see real change.
